Pipecare, Curapipe’s exclusive licensee for Italy, is deploying Curapipe's TALR to reduce water leakage. In one case, the the original leakage rate of 8,890 l/h measured across an pipeline length of around 600m, was reduced by 98%in a single intervention.
Pipecare also completed a technically very difficult project in Alpine foothills repairing 1 km of DN80 network with TALR. After 3 days of intense work, the losses of about 90 million cubic meters / year of potable water were eliminated. The TALR technology was able to detect and fix without excavation and at low cost.
These successes demonstrate one again how effective TALR is for addressing urban water losses quickly and efficiently.
